Not the biggest fan of sports related junk, but this guys' face plate doesn't suck!

Universal Studios Florida - Hollywood RIP, RIDE, ROCKIT!

The Rockit coaster in Orlando.

I was one of the designers on the project, we had a great project team involved in coming up with some really creative stuff.

Here's a couple visuals from that effort... the main lift tower graphic (left) and the Operators costume were some of the designs I worked on.

Industrial Design for a Ride Vehicle

Some industrial design I did for a ride vehicle in an attraction film.

The idea was that the bottom would lock/merge/couple with the top portion, which was more of an inducted craft.

Think helicopter bolting onto a tank chassis.

Fun stuff...

ICON - Handmade in Los Angeles California USA...

ICON, an LA-based boutique manufacturer of industrial-grade SUVs.  The body panels are from slightly worn vintage Broncos, but the rest is all brand new, including axles from a military supplier and the 420-hp V-8 engine.  You stare at gauges inspired by Bell & Ross's pilot watches and sit on woven Chilewich vinyl because, as ICON founder Jonathan Ward says, "Leather doesn't last for shit".  The result is a reincarnated Bronco with the original's fuck-you ruggedness ratcheted so high, you're not sure if you should drive it to the beach or the front lines...

They just got tapped by FORD to redesign the Bronco.

RWA - "Always working, Never stopping" - 2012

 A bit of Rethink culture...

ESCAPE!!!

DDB Paris created this simple, fun “Escape Machine” experience for the French travel company Voyages SNCF.

Menacing, glowing black cubes wait till someone goes close enough. Then the cube asks where the person would like to travel. Pushing the red button produces a crazy celebration, complete with gigantic walking kisses, and provides the wishers large, customized mock tickets to their destination. Watching the faces of the onlookers is just as much fun as the experience itself!

The underlying message is that the company’s Escape service lets you travel to any destination you want. DDB Paris with executive creative director Alexandre Harve created this, as it did last year’s flash-mob “Welcome Service” scenes for Voyages SNCF. - Tuija Seipell

Space Fantasy the Ride - Universal Studios Japan

Some images of the load station inside of Space Fantasy's queue.

While working for Universal Creative, I was one of the lead designers on the project, including the ride vehicle in the photos.

In parallel path with my art direction, MACK Rides out of Germany delivered the ride vehicle from concept to completion.  They did a fantastic job.

DK Sketch

A rough sketch for a projection based show scene for an attraction presentation I worked on in 2011.

Juso, Osaka - JAPAN • featuring Bill Mochidome

A bit of sketching while in Osaka, streets and bikes...everywhere.  There was also a lot of Bill, featured in the center there, looking back at me, most likely annoyed with my lack of grasp for Japanese.
